DELF-DALF All Audience (Diplômes de langue française)

Certify your level of French, from A1 to C2!

Obtain a Diploma in French Language Studies (DELF) or an Advanced Diploma in French Language Studies (DALF), the only official diplomas in French as a foreign language issued by the French Ministry of Education.

Registration opened for the February 2025 session! Choose your exam below:

They certify competences in French for personal, school, university or professional purposes. Valid for life, recognized worldwide and taken each year by over 480,000 candidates in 175 countries, they are made up of 6 independent levels corresponding to the common reference levels defined by the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 et C2.

Duration of the 4 compulsory tests

Notation :

• Each test is worth 25 points max.
• To obtain the diploma, you must score at least 50 points out of 100 and at least 5 points out of 25 per test.

Please note!! A mark of less than 5 points out of 25 in any test is eliminatory.

DELF A1 / A2 ↕️ 

DELF A1

• Reading Comprehension : 30 minutes
• Written Croduction : 30 minutes
• Oral Comprehension : 20 minutes
• Oral Production : 5 to 7 minutes (10 minutes of preparation)

DELF A2

• Reading Comprehension : 30 minutes
• Written Croduction : 45 minutes
• Oral Comprehension : 25 minutes
• Oral Production : 6 to 8 minutes (10 minutes of preparation)

DELF B1 / B2 ↕️

DELF B1

• Reading Comprehension : 45 minutes
• Written Production : 45 minutes
• Oral Comprehension : 25 minutes
• Oral Production : 15 minutes (10 minutes of preparation)

DELF B2

• Reading Comprehension : 1 hour
• Written Production : 1 hour
• Oral Comprehension : 30 minutes
• Oral Production : 20 minutes (30 minutes of preparation)

DALF C1 / C2 ↕️

DALF C1

• Reading Comprehension : 50 minutes
• Written Production : 2 hours 30 minutes
• Oral Comprehension : 40 minutes
• Oral Production : 30 minutes (1 hour of preparation)

DALF C2

• Common written tests : 3 hours 30 minutes
• Common oral tests : 30 minutes (1 hour of preparation)
