Animation Film Festival
A well-known annual event in French cinema, the Animation Film Festival, organized by the French Animation Film Association and the French
Institute, is being held this year from October 11 to October 31 around the world, around the theme "The Four Elements". In
Cambodia, the French Institute has chosen to celebrate animation from October 12 to October 30!
This 2024 edition brings together short films, feature films and a set of rich and varied proposals for all tastes and all audiences! Fairytales, science fiction, adventure and music highlight in these new titles all the richness and variety of French animation, rewarded in many festivals. The Institute is also offering, in partnership with the Japan Film Festival, four Japanese animated films, with free admission.
In 2024, the Animation Film Festival is honoring life through the four elements. While some wonder about a potential 5th element, this new edition highlights a nourishing earth, a life-giving air, a comforting fire or a soothing water. These archetypal elements always occupy an important place in the imagination of filmmakers: a great opportunity to program films with infinite visual and thematic richness.
Tickets: $3 / Single rate for all screenings (unless otherwise stated).
